Heidi Wirtz
Heidi Wirtz is a climber, yogi, and philanthropist who thrives when she’s on the sharp end high off the deck. As the founder of Earth Play Retreats, she's passionate about connecting with nature, sharing her passions, and inspiring others to follow their dreams. She has been guiding in the outdoors for over 20 years and is a certified AMGA Rock Guide, Wilderness First Responder, has her Pro 1 Avalanche training and has had extensive training in alpine and rock guiding.
Heidi has pioneered new routes up big walls and mountains and pushed the limits of female exploration. She is known in the US as Heidi Almighty for her bold and technical climbing as well as speed ascents in Yosemite Valley.
Heidi has studied yoga for more than 20 years as well, and she's completed two teacher-training courses. Her goal is to apply her knowledge of yoga and connection to nature to create classes that are uplifting, energetic, and focused on aligning the body for maximum fluidity in all of life.
