Rope Management
Keeping the rope neat and untangled both speeds up your climb, and allows you to focus on your route and moves, and/or belaying. Ideally your rope management is like a referee: an essential component of your day, but one you don’t necessarily remember after a big game. The more climbers you have in your group, the more rope management is important. Expert rope management lowers stress and keeps your team moving. And if executed well, your partners won’t even notice you killing it.
