Northeast
The Northeast is generally a densely forested landscape with rolling hills, small mountains, and abundant water from springs, lakes, and rivers in the inner woodlands, and lower shrublands and forests along the more mild oceanic coastline.
The distinctive seasons in this area create equally distinctive periods of harvesting, with greens in the early spring and summer, fruits throughout the summer and into autumn, and roots and nuts in the early to late fall.
