Weighting and Edging Your Skis
Being able to stay balanced over the outside ski through the turn will enable you to manage terrain and your line while controlling your speed.
To experience the feeling of being balanced over the outside ski, stand on a moderately steep pitch with your skis across the hill. Pick up your uphill ski and pay attention to how your upper body moves to shift your weight over the downhill ski.
