If using pin-bindings, first carefully line up the toe of your boot with the two lateral binding pins. Then step evenly downward until the binding snaps close. Adjust your climbing lifters for the lowest uphill setting. Adjust your pole straps so you can have a loose grip and allow the weight of your arm to easily “fall” onto the strap.
