Like with any activity, what and how much you eat depends on so many factors (fitness level, the intensity of the exercise, how long you’ll be out, what your body typically needs, etc.). One of the best things you can do is to experiment. If you typically don’t need much food or hydration while exercising, you may require little in the way of snacks, but it’s always a good idea to err on the side of bringing too much than too little.
