Lesson 3: Making Short Turns Through Moguls
Short-swing turns, or short-radius turns, are a lot like pole plants—without them, you can’t pull off a zipper-line through moguls. The short-swing turn isn’t a difficult tactic to master. It relies on the same fundamental skills as a medium-radius turn, but is performed at a much quicker pace. This means you’ll likely need to get the hang of linking short turns on groomed terrain before you try them in the moguls.
