Glen Plake
Glen Plake is a skier who needs little introduction. You know him as the mohawked hot dogger who first gained notoriety for crushing bumps in Greg Stump’s 1988 classic ski film, “The Blizzard of Aahhhh’s.” Glen’s professional skiing career spans more than four decades and began when he made the U.S. Ski Team’s mogul team, which he promptly left to pursue a career skiing for the silver screen where skiing wasn’t so prescriptive. But in 2012, skiing’s most famous rebel earned his full certification from the Professional Ski Instructors of America, making him one of the most famous ski instructors in America, and certainly one of the zaniest.
