Pseudo-Grains are Back!
You’ve made it to the final week, and we’ve got some exciting news! This week we are re-introducing yet another category of food – grains! But not all grains – not quite yet anyway. For now, we’re sticking to the most nutritious of the grains: pseudograins.
Pseudograins, which include quinoa, amaranth, buckwheat, and millet, look and taste a lot like grains but are actually seeds. This makes them lower in carbohydrates and higher in protein than traditional grains, like rice.
